What Is Impossible

Over the past few months we have been working on our new lobby and café.   The support from our GFC family has been incredible.  I thank each of you for your patience during this time of renovation.

There is a great sense of hope in our church body during this season.  We have seen God do what would seem to be the impossible…but most great stories of a faithful God start that way.  Today I want to draw your attention to what impossible truly means in this situation.  Impossible simply stated means “can’t be done”.  When we refer to God doing the “impossible” are we truly aware that this has transpired?  In your life you may have seen the impossible become possible.  What did God do to bring that to pass?  Answer a prayer?  Bring a healing?  Have a hardened heart turn to Him?  I believe in the God of the impossible and daily I am aware of the impossible that has taken place in me.  My wife looking past my flaws, my girls seeing a Godly father and husband, leading a congregation to a better knowledge of Jesus, people faithfully supporting the work of ministry at GFC and many more.  These are minute-by-minute acknowledgements of a miracle working God doing the impossible; for that I am eternally grateful!

“And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”  – Colossians 3:17
